Nni Franco U Vastiddaru – One of the most famous street food shops of Palermo. You can order everything from fried food to various sandwiches. We recommend you to try here Pani câ meusa (Spleen sandwich) and Pane panelle e crocchè (Panelle and crocchè sandwich).

Bar Touring – A classical bar offering everything from pasta dishes to local pastries. Bar Touring is well-known for it’s maxi size of the Arancinas (Fried rice ball with filling).

Antica Focacceria San Francesco – One of the oldest focaccerias of Palermo, where you can taste all types of street food, both sweet and savory. Try here Pani câ meusa (Spleen sandwich), Pane panelle e crocchè (Panelle and crocchè sandwich) and cannolos (Dessert filled with ricotta cheese).

Anywhere in the streets – You can find various street food stalls all around the historic center. We recommend you to go to Vucciria Market or if you walk around Foro Italico, you need to try stigghiole (guts with herbs).

Buatta Cucina Popolana

Buatta Cucina Popolana – A modern restaurant with the most famous traditional dishes, that are all well done and well presented. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed.

Osteria Mangia e Bevi – There are two restaurants with the same name, both having the same owners and menus. A simple restaurant with traditional dishes. Their portions are usually bigger than in other places. Try the finger food mangia e bevi (rolls of bacon and spring onions).

Gagini Restaurant – A Michelin star restaurant with cozy atmosphere and interesting design. They have their own wonderful reinterpretation of the Mediterranean food.

Aja Mola – A sea food restaurant with the freshest products, designed indoors imitating the old traditional octupus stalls.

Molo Sant’Erasmo – We recommend you to go there if you want to have a great lunch with a sea view (just a few meters from the tables). They offer tasty pasta and sea food dishes.

La Martorana – Perfect for a tasty breakfast. They offer both the typical sweet Italian breakfast as well as savory omelettes. Amazing pastries.

Cioccolateria Lorenzo – A place where to stay for hours, drinking a good hot chocolate while reading a book. You need to try their Tiramisù. This place has many cozy corners.

CHA – It’s all about the atmosphere! You can choose between pillows on the floor or just normal table to taste their delicious cakes and drink a hot tea or just a tasty cocktail. Best in the winter season.

Palermo Store Cafè – They have probably the best cannolis of the historic center of Palermo.

Bocum Fuoco

Bocum Fuoco – It’s all about the design, taste and atmosphere. This bar has an artistic interior desing with chill music and they offer great and well served coctails.

Ferramenta – An old hardware store refurbished and transformed into a bar. They have a great seletion of drinks, including good wines.

Botteghe Colletti – A typical Palermitan place in one of the historic alleys of palermo. The internal room is very tiny, a but you can feel the cozy atmosphere, all the tables are arranged outdoors on the sidewalk that becomes “an open-air bar” at night.

La Terrazza della Rinascente – A panoramic view over the historic center of Palermo. It’s a bar on the last floor of a shopping mall. They offer great coctails and food.
